How long should we hire the car for?
- Keep in mind, the hire time will generally include:
- Bride & Groom pick up
- Photos prior to the ceremony (separately)
- Transport to the venue for both Bride & Groom
- Ceremony
- Photos afterward with transport to other locations if required
Based on our experience, a 4-hour hire is always the best option if you want the cars to be part of your wedding photos after the ceremony. Four hours sounds like a lot of time, but you’d be amazed how quickly it can go on the day!
You want to allow yourself enough time for all of the above, without being stressed on the day, or worried about any unforeseen circumstances that delay the proceedings. Consider timeframes carefully regarding all the shots you want to get with the cars. Your photographer may also be able to provide you with guidance around this.
